In a French accent the international operator asked, “Will you accept a long-distance collect call from a Mr. Tommy Curren?” Tommy told me he’d be returning from Biarritz the next morning and wanted to squeeze in a Ventura dawn-patrol session before leaving for Japan the following day.
Turned out that I got more A-plus images from the few hours we spent at Santa Clara Rivermouth that morning than ever before.
Less than twenty-four hours later, Tommy would fly to Japan, where he would go on to win the Marui Pro at Chiba, his first world-tour victory.
Each of our Classic Prints are a Giclee Fine Art Print, on 100% Archival, 360gsm Cotton Rag paper (1OO+ year archival) with Archival inks.

All images are shot with original Kodachrome64 35mm slide film or Kodak B&W film.
